Thanks anon, I’m okay. 

Basically what’s been going down so far is this:

• 4/12/15: Freddie Gray, 25, was apprehended and arrested by police. [More about the arrest here]. This video of his arrests surfaced here.
• 4/19/15: Freddie Gray dies as a result of forceful trauma. 80 percent of his spine was severed.
• U.S. Dept. of Justice opens investigation into his death. 
• 4/22/15: peaceful protests take place in Baltimore, MD.
• 4/24/15: police admit that mistakes were made in the arrest and death of Gray.
• 4/25/15: More peaceful protesting takes place. 
• 4/26/15: Protesting starts to take a violent turn.
• 4/27/15: Freddie Gray laid to rest. Peaceful protesters are out numbered by those wishing to create destruction. Baltimore Orioles call off game vs. White Sox. Baltimore City Public Schools to close on Tuesday 4/28. Looting, burning, and injuries to innocent have begun. State of emergency declared. National guard ordered into the city. Curfew put in place for 10 p.m.- 5 a.m. from 4/28-5/5. Governor and POTUS collaborating. 

This has all happened so far that I may have missed something but a Google/Twitter search will bring you up to speed fairly quickly. The media though has framed this in the wrong light. The main message has been lost and Baltimore is burning because of it.

• Now the Governor is blaming the Mayor for everything that’s happened.
  
• Mayor uses the word ‘thug’ on nationally televised news program, and on her twitter.
• New senior center is set aflame downtown.
• The leadership has failed this city. It’s chaos down there right now. Media is making everything worse.
